Polaris 3 can be installed in less than 30 minutes: connects to existing plumbing. Use your existing mixer valve and replace your shower head with a shower head and handheld shower combo.
Polaris 3 can be installed without the extension: allows installation close to the ceiling. Without the extension, the rain shower head is at the same height as the water outlet in the wall.
The handheld shower head has 3 settings. Wide general spray for washing yourself and to use like a regular shower head. 2nd setting enables all nozzles and is great for rinsing shampoo out of thick hair. 3rd setting is massage function: water comes out from the middle nozzles with higher pressure, great to relax sore muscles. The diverter is conveniently located and easy to reach even for children. It allows showering with the rain head, handheld shower, or both simultaneously.
The shower arm has swivel function and can be turned left and right. This is handy if your current shower outlet is not centred in the wall. By turning the arm, you can get the rain shower head in the middle of your shower space. The handheld shower holder allows angle adjustment as well as lifting it up and down.

If you have a high ceiling, the extension provides more headroom under the shower. Without the extension, the minimum clearance required above the overhead shower outlet is ~3 inches.
